At Cultivating Change, we believe meaningful change happens when people come together around a shared purpose. Our work was created from a desire to help organizations move beyond fragmented initiatives and disconnected systems toward collaborative, sustainable transformation. We believe every voice matters, and when diverse perspectives intersect, organizations can redesign systems that better support people, performance, and long-term success. At Cultivating Change, our mission is to cultivate collaborative, adaptive, and sustainable systems where people, purpose, and organizational structures are intentionally aligned to create meaningful and lasting impact. We begin by helping organizations identify and better understand their “organizational self” — the interconnected systems, structures, relationships, resources, and practices that shape how the organization functions and grows.
We believe transformational change occurs when all voices are represented, diverse perspectives intersect, and organizations collectively design solutions that support both human growth and organizational success. Through intentional collaboration and systems alignment, we help organizations create cohesive, efficient, and sustainable structures that strengthen innovation, improve outcomes, maximize resources, and support long-term fiscal and organizational health.

Meet Torie Gibson, Ed.D. ~ Founder and Creator of the Collective Change Framework

Dr. Torie F. Gibson is the founder of Cultivating Change and creator of the Collective Change Framework. With more than 30 years of leadership experience across educational systems and organizations, she brings a deep understanding of how to guide organizations through growth, transformation, and systems alignment. Having served in both small and large systems, as well as rural, urban, and multicultural organizations, Torie offers a broad perspective on the unique challenges and opportunities organizations face.

Torie’s work is grounded in the belief that lasting change occurs when organizations intentionally align people, structures, and resources around a shared purpose. Through the Collective Change Framework, she helps organizations create greater clarity, collaboration, efficiency, and sustainability while strengthening both organizational systems and the people within them.

She partners with educational agencies, nonprofits, for-profit organizations, and leadership teams to cultivate environments where innovation, strategic alignment, and collective impact can thrive.

Outside of her professional work, Torie enjoys playing golf, traveling, watching sunsets, spending time near the ocean, and making memories with family and friends.
